Ever wonder how much our mother's style influences our own life mode?
mother to a puppy and happy blog owner of teaches runing style. She received her degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in wonder before moving to any where with her husband .
We love our mother of his any style , But some mother don't know how behave and get style faces any more so we just discus some simple style/life mode for every mother :

We were staying in a little tiny resort on the island of Syros, so we decided to go back and check out the port town we arrived in from the Mykonos ferry – Hermoupolis. It’s
a non-tourist, proper Greek working town. I knew if I wore the usual
holiday get-up, we would stick out like a sore thumb! Well… apart from
being incredibly pale that is.I don’t really sunbath anymore, it’s boring as hell and I don’t want to look like a leather boot when I reach 40. I used to lay in the sun day in and day out on holiday…hate to think of the sun damage I have already caused. Any small tan I get now is from walking around.
I wore a black maxi dress from old favourite Jarlo.
They always do the best maxis, I have a extensive collection of them
now. It is strapless so no slapper strap marks walking around in the hot
sun. The description of the dress, I just noticed now says ‘perfect for
exploring a new town’. Great minds! The lace panelling
kept me nice and cool with the light breeze airing through. The under
layer is quite short, but you feel secure with the lace on top…maybe a
little too secure as you could still flash a butt cheek or two if you
bend too far forward.
Happy New Year Love
I am staying in tonight, I don’t think I
have been out for New Years Eve for years and years. I was bored, Eva
was bored; so I decided we should get dressed up in some sparkly
numbers. Then have a little make-shift photo-booth session in my
bedroom. I have been sick with flu, in food comas and had a broken down
blog over the last couple of weeks, so I desperately wanted to squeeze a
post in before 2014.
Eva is wearing her green two-piece set from Monsoon* & I am wearing a featured a Lace Feather Hem Dress from Lipsy*. I wore this out for Luke’s Christmas party and Eva wore this set on Christmas day.
Thanks so much to everyone who reads or has subscribed to Memoir Mode.Mother Daughter Style | Sorel Boots
I was really hoping we would have some snow
so I could photograph these boots Sorel kindly sent to us. They would
completely be in their element! Eva is wearing the Yoot Pac style
and apparently they can keep little feet toasty to -40° fahrenheit. It
was -1 celsius around 4pm today, Eva was splashing in puddles and her
feet were warm and dry when we got home. Eva’s pre-school is a forest
school. They go out in all weather to learn about nature and survival
techniques, so these boots couldn’t be more perfect for her. Just bring
us some snow now dammit! It will probably come along when I am in South
Africa at the end of the month with my luck.
I am wearing the Scotia Lace Boot. I
could probably walk around in these non-stop all day and they would
still be just as comfortable as when I first put them on. Perfect for
long county walks. They are also insulated and waterproof. I can imagine
the more the suede and full grain leather get battered…the better they
will look.
Mother/Daughter Style – Biker Boots
Since these boots from Unisa arrived before
Christmas, Eva and I have lived in them! Eva even asked to sleep in
them. They are so beautifully made and what Eva would describe as “her cosy new boots“.
Eva has inherited her love of shoes from me. This isn’t something I
have imposed on her at all! She has obviously seen me and
my insanely happy moments when I have a new pair of babies to add to my
collection!
Now I didn’t do a purposely cheesy ‘look in
the distance’ pose for the sake of a photo. There was people coming
and I was then about to shuffle off and hide. One day I just wont care
about doing outfit posts in public. It is easier with Eva as people
just think you want some nice mother/daughter photos to keep, which I do
as well as updating my blog.
Eva’s coat was a prime purchase for late last year! I was looking around the clearance in TK Maxx and asked Eva if she liked anything. She picked out this coat (probably because it looks similar to my Nelly
one). The age was size 4, but I tried it on her anyway and it fit!
(ish). For £8 I was having it and it will last her for a while.
Back to the boots….mine are quite sturdy
and will definitely take a beating (I will try not too). I am thinking
they will be good for the festival season too. Eva’s are butter soft
leather with a fluffy inner, she tells me they are warm
and comfortable so I will take her word for it. Mummys and Daddys do
take a look at them and they are now only £50 in the sale check out the boots here.Mother/Daughter Style | Hunter Boots
Its times for another mother/daughter style
post! I keep meaning to do more, but as you can imagine a 3 year old
gets quite restless after a few minutes. We are both very lucky girlies
as Hunter
got in touch and asked if I would like to pick a pair of boots each. So
rather than posing for photos with a restless Eva I thought it would be
best to actually put the boots to good use and take photos naturally
around Painshill Park in Cobham near where I live.
As you can see Painshill park couldn’t be
more of picturesque place to photograph our new welly boots. Plus the
weekend was our first glimpse at Spring.
I love these boots so much. So incredibly
comfortable and your feet just melt into them when you slip them on. I
can’t wait for festival season to dress them up in a different way, no
achy feet for me. Not only that they are the crème de la crème of
wellington boots! I had 5 pairs of wellies in my vast boot and shoes
collection, but these will take pride of place.
As for Eva’s boots…I think I might of
mentioned before of her love of shoes (I wonder where she gets that
from). Her eyes lit up when I opened the box and inside was a pair of
glittering black and gold welly boots. Like all new shoes and boots…they
only get taken off for bath and sleep time.
Are you a fan of Hunter Boots?
